TERMS AND CONDITIONS AGREEMENT BETWEEN Sardinia Tour Guide AND ITS USERS/CLIENTS
Terms and Conditions of use – refer to the policy & rules which regulate the use of this site with the end user.
User – refer to the policy & rules which regulate the use of this site with the end user.
Sardinia Tour Guide – refers to Sardinia Tour Guide, SardiniaTourGuide.com brands.
Seller – refers to Sardinia Tour Guide and those of which are employed by Sardinia Tour Guide Service
Provider – refers to any person not employed directly by Sardinia Tour Guide that provides services under the guidance of Sardinia Tour Guide May also be referred to as a 3rd Party or 3rd Party Service Provider.
Credit – refers to credit vouchers/gift cards for future purchases. Credits cannot be redeemed for cash value. Credits are good for 36 months and can be renewed for an additional 36 months by emailing email@example.com prior to the initial 36 months.
Website (site) – refers to SardiniaTourGuide.com website and any links available from or within the website, but does not include any external websites or links to external websites not belonging to or controlled by Sardinia Tour Guide or a related company doing business as Sardinia Tour Guide.
Material/s – refers to physical material and items contained in this site that can be extracted. i.e. HTML, photographs, maps, software, films, emails, video.
Services – refers to the products and services offered within this website; tangible or intangible.
STG – Sardinia Tour Guide
Private Tours – A tour that is conducted privately without outside participants. This means that it is simply your group, however large or small, and the tour guide.
Small Group Tour – A tour that has members from multiple parties and a tour guide. Group sizes vary as advertised on our website, but basically, your group may be accompanied by others.
Museum Tickets/admissions – refers to the fee charged in order to enter museums, archeological sites and/or desired historical sites of importance.
Booking confirmation – is a confirmation sent via email or fax that confirms services have been confirmed and reserved.
Reasonable Action – any action that remains within the laws of the country in which the action is taken and does not end in a financial loss for Sardinia Tour Guide or any of its associates.
Clients – users that have accepted terms & agreements of Sardinia Tour Guide and have paid or eventually will pay for services. This agreement will either be made after the booking process on our site by purchasing our travel products or with a member of our travel planning team via email.
Drivers – refers to service professionals that operate cars, vans, helicopters, boats, buses and/or any vehicle powered by an energy source.
Sardinia Trip Planning – Services offered by Sardinia Tour Guide at a fee which help with the planning of your vacation, including hotel reservations, land transfers, transport bookings, restaurant bookings, extraordinary requests and planning hours.

2. YOUR CONTRACT WITH Sardinia Tour Guide
When you make a booking with “Sardinia Tour Guide” you undertake that you have the authority to accept and do accept these booking conditions on behalf of yourself and your party. These conditions in conjunction with the information set out on our website form the entire agreement between yourself and STG. STG reserves the right to change these terms & conditions without notice.
STG offers you the opportunity to purchase tourism-related products and services without registration. Each product and service includes the following features, which you automatically agree to upon purchase:
- booking the tour/trip, part of it or a specific experience, in the cities in which we are present;
- assistance from STG staff, to the best of their abilities, for the duration of the service
- opportunity to notify you about new or alternative products and services similar to what you are buying.
3. PRODUCT VALIDITY, MODIFICATIONS & AMENDMENTS
Products offered by Sardinia Tour Guide are valid as per the dates and times displayed at SardiniaTourGuide.com. Sardinia Tour Guide is not responsible or liable for any information that it does not directly provide.
All requests for booking modifications/amendments must be directed to the Sardinia Tour Guide Travel Expert Team via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, telephone +39 366 173 2972 or via our webform.
Sardinia Tour Guide does not charge a fee to amend or change the dates or times of an existing booking, as long as the request is received by our Customer Care team more than twenty four (24) hours ahead of your confirmed tour date. This policy is valid on all tours.
If you request a date/time change Sardinia Tour Guide will attempt to honor your request; However Sardinia Tour Guide cannot guarantee date/time change requests as all requests and amendments are subject to availability.
For change requests made within the 24h mark, Sardinia Tour Guide will make reasonable attempts to accommodate, but will charge fees associated with but not limited to the ticket cost and personnel cost to acquire/change tickets.
Sardinia Tour Guide reserves the right to cancel, change or substitute any tour that you have booked at SardiniaTourGuide.com, at any time, for any reason.
4 . PRICES
Prices are fixed at the time of booking and generally will not be subject to surcharges. The only exception to this will be an increase in our costs arising as a result of any government action or ticket price increase without warning. Museum tickets/admissions are also subject to change without notice due to the addition and removal of Exhibitions by the museums. We only state this to reserve the right but have never had to enforce it.
Prices may change with the use of promo codes as detailed in section 4.
Our tours and experiences are able to be viewed in multiple currencies, but payment takes place in EUR via our company (Sardinia Tour Guide).
Foreign Exchange Rates (FX rates) are built into our prices using a secure system. Rates found online are the basis for our rates, but may not be the same as our rates. Our rates are updated once per day and may be slightly higher or lower than those found online.
The FX rate at which we sell our tours are non-negotiable.
5. Promo Codes
Promo codes and special “offers” are subject to the terms of each offer. This means that the details of the offer described in each place of advertisement. They are also subject to the below terms.
- You cannot use two promo codes at once in any situation.
- Promo codes are valid only for their advertised discount. If an additional amount is discounted due to technical issues with our website or human error, STG has the right to request additional payment to cover the difference. If the client refuses to cover the difference, STG will amicably cancel the tour.
- The some promo codes DO NOT work on the night tours in any capacity. These tours are not discounted due to their high cost to run.
- Promo codes are usable only for the persons that they are offered to if received via email unless explicitly written otherwise. Promo codes are not a “right” nor an “entitlement”. They are usable only as described and are not applicable to past purchases.
6. PAYMENTS, REFUNDS & CANCELATIONS
Sardinia Tour Guide accepts the following credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, American Express.
All credit card processing fees are built into our prices. You will not be charged additionally for cc processing at checkout.
Full payment by credit card is required to make a reservation. Payment will be listed as Sardinia Tour Guide on the credit card statement.
Tours & Activities cancelled 24h or more in advance will be given a credit voucher/gift card equal to the amount spent for future purchases.
Cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee, which may vary by tour, situation, or case. Fees are not limited to, but could include the ticket cost for tours that require the purchase of a ticket in advance.
All cancellations should be submitted using this form .
No credit voucher will be given for cancelations made within 24 hours of a tour.
No credit voucher for a tour is available once the tour has commenced.
Refunds are disbursed at the discretion of management.
6.1 Cancellation Due To Planes, Trains Or Automobile
As stated above, we do not refund clients within 24 hours of a tour, and this includes customers who are late due to flight or train cancellations, delays or issues caused by traffic or congestion, etc. We do not offer credit to any group tour cancelling within 24 hours of the tour start time, or private tour cancelling within 7 days of the tour start time.
If you are concerned about the possibility of cancellation or nonrefundable costs, we recommend the purchase of travel insurance.
7. TRIP PLANNING
Sardinia Trip Planning is an advanced product offered by Sardinia Tour Guide.
Sardinia Trip Planning customers pay a fee for additional services in organization and management of trips. It is different from having a travel expert plan tours only. Sardinia Trip Planning includes transportation, hotels, restaurant reservations and activities.
A fee is charged for trip planning.
7.1 TRIP PLANNING INITIAL FEE
At the initiation of planning a trip STG reserves the right to request a refundable Sardinia Trip Planning deposit of 200 euro. This fee is to assess the seriousness of a client’s intentions to travel.
STG will offer a full refund of this deposit at any time and for any reason prior to the travel planning confirmation which is received upon the client’s payment of a second deposit. The second deposit is a non-refundable 20% deposit of the total price of the trip. Upon payment of the second deposit, all fees assessed are subject to our cancellation policy detailed in Article 9 below.
STG reserves the right to not confirm or make any necessary reservations prior to the payment of the second deposit.
7.2 TRIP PLANNING
Once you have finalized your plans for your vacation, our trip planning payment plan is the following:
- Non refundable 20% deposit to confirm the trip.
- Full payment 30 days prior to your departure date.
All payments are taken by credit card or check.
8. CANCELLATION DUE TO FORCE MAJEURE
Cancellation due to Force Majeure or reasons beyond our control will result in a credit given or refund. This will be decided at the discretion of management on a case by case basis.
9. CANCELLATION POLICY FOR TRIP PLANNING
STG reserves the right to charge a 50% cancellation fee for any trip cancelled from 30 days prior to the arrival date up to 72 hours prior to the arrival time. Arrival time is defined by the time in which you are scheduled to arrive on the first day of your trip.
STG reserves the right to withhold the full cost of the vacation for any trip cancelled within 24 hours before the time of arrival in first destination.
9.1 TRIP PLANNING AMENDMENTS BY BUYERS
Sardinia Trip planning is a service administered prior to arrival of your desired destination therefore the service is completed upon payment.
Once any form of payment is made, STG will not offer a refund to the Sardinia Trip Planning fee in your invoice.
If you choose to amend or change your reservations STG as a service will do its best to make it happen without additional charges, but we reserve the right to assess amendments as cancellations if coinciding cancellation policies held by hotels or service providers conflict with those of STG.
9.2 HOTEL INTERFERENCE WITH STG CANCELLATION POLICY
The Sardinia Trip Planning Cancellation Policy may not coincide with hotels booked. The cancellation policy of a hotel being different from that of STG. In this case, refunds on hotels are not guaranteed and cannot be included in the refund percentage or cancellation policy detailed in above section 9.
10. TIME & DATE CHANGES BY Sardinia Tour Guide
STG reserves the right to change the start time, date, meeting point of any tour or service you book through STG or any affiliate companies. Changes like these happen in response to changes in the tourism landscape.
Communication of said change will take the form of both an email and phone call to the contact information provided upon booking.
Certain tours are more susceptible to time change.
10.1 Refund Conditions for Time Changes Made by STG
On a less frequent basis, tours can be subject to a date change. If the change is unacceptable to the user and no alternatives are possible, STG will offer a refund or credit at the discretion of management on a case by case basis.
10.2 Date & Time Zone for In-Person Tours
All date and time calculations are to be made in the time-zone of the city in question. e.g. If the tour is meant to take place in Rome, Central European Time (CET).
Virtual Tours are listed in Eastern Standard Time
Prices for tours and experiences are denominated in European Euro currency. When you purchase from Sardinia Tour Guide on our website or through another party, your sale is taking place in Italy. For this reason, we take payment in EUR.
You may visualize our pricing in Euro, USD, CAD, AUS and GBP, but your card will be charged in EUR. If you are concerned about your bank charging you fees for making a purchase in a foreign currency please contact them directly.
This does not make Sardinia Tour Guide simply a booking agency. All tours and experiences are managed and operated by our Tour Operator and office in Italy.
12. INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGES AGREEMENT BETWEEN USERS & STG
STG is not responsible for any loss, injury or damage that occurs during the use of its services i.e. robbery, car crash, illness, acts of terrorism, spontaneous gladiatorial events and/or the chapter Revelations from the bible.
STG is not responsible for the actions of its 3rd party service providers such as drivers or guides. STG will however assure that all drivers have the proper insurance policy and licensing for transporting tourists in their locality.
13. TRAVEL INSURANCE
STG advises all clients to purchase travel insurance in every circumstance possible. STG may at times recommend an insurance provider, but is not a certified seller of insurance and does not take responsibility for future disputes with any recommended seller of travel insurance. STG does assure users that it will not recommend any travel insurance provider that has, as far as STG is aware, caused problems for previous STG clients.
If any employee of STG advises any user or client against the purchase of Travel Insurance they will be subject to termination immediately without compensation.
14. SPECIAL ASSISTANCE
Travelers needing special assistance must report disability or allergy to STG at the time of booking. STG will make every effort to accommodate all travelers but not all historical sites are equipped for those who have walking difficulties. Travelers should know that handicap access is not required in Italy such as in the United States (Americans with Disabilities Act). Some sights, will be difficult to access for those in wheelchairs.
Sardinia Tour Guide recommends Private Tours for any customer with serious mobility issues.
15. BAGGAGE DISCLAIMER
STG cannot be responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal items during tours. STG partners with the best transport providers, attentive guides, and service providers, but it is the responsibility of each participant to keep a watchful eye on their personal effects. STG always recommends that travelers have adequate insurance to cover these issues.
16. HOLIDAY OR MUSEUM CLOSURES
STG has done all adequate research and planning to be sure its clients are able to do all of the tours scheduled on STG website, but we cannot be responsible for strikes within Italy. If there is a museum or archeological site closure due to strike, STG cannot take responsibility as there is no way to know in advance.
We will try our best to reschedule any affected tours, but successful rescheduling to meet client needs cannot be guaranteed. Most museums in Italy reserve the right to close at an instance notice for any reason they deem necessary. STG cannot be responsible for choices made by archeological site, museums or church management.
17. YOUTH DISCLAIMER
Any minor child under the age of majority who participates in a STG Tour, STG GUIDED Vacations or STG service, must be accompanied by an adult and supervised by an adult during the entire length of the city tour/vacation package/service. STG, or any person employed by STG, cannot take responsibility for minor children during the length of a STG city tour/vacation package/service.
17.1 Disability Disclaimer
It is highly recommended that persons needing special assistance book a STG private tour with a companion that is physically able and completely responsible for providing assistance.
Although STG will do as much as possible to accommodate those with disabilities, STG cannot be responsible for personal assistance and, in order to ensure you get the most out of your experience, it is suggested that you book a private tour to give you flexibility with times and to ensure the best tour route is planned in advance to meet your needs.

The information contained in this website is for general information purposes only. The information is provided by Sardinia Tour Guide and, while we endeavor to keep the information up to date and correct, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the website or the information, products, services, or related graphics contained on the website for any purpose. Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk.
Sardinia Tour Guide Inc (STG) is not in the business of selling personal information, content, data, or anything that is not property of STG. STG ensures the user & client that we will not intentionally sell your private data that may be collected intentionally or unintentionally by STG.
The user is subject to these Terms & Conditions immediately upon entering our site.
Sardinia Tour Guide reserves the right to integrate or modify at its own discretion any of the dispositions contained in the terms and conditions of use including any disposition and/or directive that the website refers to.
