After a little bit more of sailing, you finally pull up to the shore of Spalmatore Beach. It’s a place you’ve been dreaming about for years, and it looks like a paradise. The crystalline water will refresh you and cool your burning feet as you walk out onto the sand. There are some other beaches on the island, but this is the one that’s sandy. In the Spalmatore Beach, you’ll have plenty of time to do things such as swim, relax, or enjoy a coffee. You also have a choice of whether you want to get your exercise in on the beach walkway or doing more aquatic activities.

This is one of the most popular tours on Sardinia since it offers all these activities for an affordable price that makes it ideal for travelers with limited budgets or those who are staying in Olbia city and around.

Be sure to bring a hat and sunglasses, as there aren’t any natural shade on the beaches. Are you planning a trip to the Sardinia? Contact us for more information or personalizing this trip.

The Barbagia Sardinia Tour is a tour that will take you through the mountainous area of Sardinia, one of the most interesting regions of Italy. The tour will show you hidden gems, which are not always easy to find. The tour will allow you to explore this region with a driver who knows all the interesting places in this region.

This tour will be an enriching experience for those who take it as they will see three different places with three different backgrounds as well as enjoy themselves on a ride through beautiful landscapes. You can be picked up from your hotel and taken to the countryside directly.

The Gennargentu National Park involves the eastern coastline of Sardinia, near Orosei. It also includes the mountains in the hinterland, southwards up to where it reaches its boundary. Hiking in the Sardinian mountains is becoming more popular due to places like Supramonte, which has hundreds of kilometers of trails that are perfect for any kind of hiker. The area is home to some of the most incredible scenery on the island. You may love taking a trip by car or van if you are a nature lover.

The Barbagia region of Sardinia is located in the center of Sardinia, with an 1300 km2 area. The Barbagia region has a rugged and mountainous terrain, with some large plains on its northern side, which are used for commercial agriculture. Agriculture has always been one of the main economic activities in this part of Sardinia, with large estates producing cereals, wine and hazelnuts.

The economy is also based on mining activity; there are many small mines producing extracted minerals such as lead or silver ore. The southern part of this region is dominated by forests and pastureland, but it also includes small commercial fruit farms.

One of the main attractions is the marble quarries. Orosei Marble Quarries is where you can see some of the most incredible marble quarries in Europe. Quality Sardinian marble is found in the eastern coastal area of the island and can be exported to mainland (Italy) and many countries in the world. We will first stop on top of the hill, called Tuttavista (Its name comes from the word “panorama”) We walk for a few minutes and reach an overlook where we can see a statue of Christ. To your left is an amazing view over the Orosei Gulf. The other side you can see the sea & rocks of Capo Monte Santo, while on this side there’s the inner region called Baronia.

Baronia is a famous garden-city. It appears to have been renowned for its gardens and fruit groves that cover much of its surface area. There are a variety of fruit trees in the area, including lemon and orange trees, as well as olive and almond trees. One study has found that people who live near fruit trees tend to be healthier than those who live in areas where there are no fruit trees. Almonds are used to bake Amaretti-style sweet pastries in the region of Sardinia. Almond trees grow abundantly here. And now we are visiting Su Gologone and Lanaitto valley. Here, there is the Nuragic archaeological site Sa Sedda e sos Carros. This site, one of the best preserved in this region, has been a popular tourist attraction for a long time. Due to its prime location, it has been the focus of many different studies over the years.

Next stop is at a natural monument: the karst spring called Su Gologone. The karst spring called Su Gologone is a natural monument near the town of Dorgali. It is a typical example of a subterranean stream, which has been formed by the passage of underground waters through limestone. The ground is covered with moss and there are some stalactites. The cave consists of a subterranean river that comes out here after flowing through a very long and wide karst system. The flow rate of water will often change depending on the amount of rainfall that has occurred. The more rainfall that occurs, the faster the flow rate will be.

We reach the forest area which is situated about 1,000 meters high for lunch. The shepherds are said to have been the “guardians of the flock”, so it is only fitting that they are the ones who kept watch over their herds in order to protect them from predators. For us, this is also where we can taste a typical local lunch. Sardinian traditional meal that has been enjoyed for centuries by shepherds on the island of Sardinia. The meal consists of either raw ham or dry sausage, salted cottage cheese, local carasau or spianata bread or pasta, semi-seasoned cheese, and roasted suckling pig.

After a relaxing lunch and a short break from the sun, we will go back to the hotel for an afternoon of rest and to relax for a bit before heading back out for dinner.

This tour is perfect for those who want to enjoy beautiful scenery and do some adventure sports while they are at it!

The Bonifacio Corsica Island France Tour is a full day excursion to Bonifacio in Corsica also includes the opportunity to visit the northern part of Sardinia before you sail over to Corsica. After reaching the port, our ferry crosses the Bonifacio Strait, which is the stretch of water that separates Corsica from Sardinia. This small stretch of water is home to some of the most breathtaking views you’ll ever see and continues to be a tourist trap for those visiting this part of Italy. Crossing the Bonifacio Strait lasts around an hour.

Bonifacio is located on the picturesque French Island of Corsica. It’s a fantastic place to visit for anyone who wants to experience the quintessential Mediterranean island life. With its striking views and historical sites, it is one of the most popular destinations for tourists.

If you have time and would like a beautiful excursion, take our trip through this beautiful landscape. You’ll be able to see various aspects of the area, including the distinctive white limestone cliffs, the little town on top of a hill called Bonifacio which can be seen across the whole port all the way to where it meets with the Strait. You’ll also see this breathtaking nature that’s typical for the area, architecture that’s unique to these places, and souvenirs where each item is handmade.

When we finish our sailing on the open ocean and taking in the view of the spectacular town of Bonifacio hanging above the blue sea, we arrive in this picturesque port.

The Marina has straight, brightly-colored houses lining the port with many different restaurants, bars & souvenirs shops. There are also several shops with luxury yachts which make it a popular place to walk around and admire.

The harbor is an important part of this town. It’s connected to the old part of the town by a series of steps that are not too steep for most people to walk up and down. The steps do get quite narrow in some stretches that we recommend standing tall and holding the handrail to prevent slipping or tripping. The old, charming city has narrow, stone paved streets that are perfect for picture-taking. You can see a beautiful view of the northern coast of Sardinia and the La Maddalena archipelago when you look out from the top.

Bonifacio is a beautiful city with an interesting history. The island of Corsica, the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte, has a lot to offer for both history buffs and nature enthusiasts. The Bonifacio town was the place where Napoleon Bonaparte lived for a while. He was just an ambitious soldier at that point and didn’t conquer the Corsica Island yet.

You will find a square where the fish market used to take place, grain stores and the cathedral which dates back to the 12th century.

You may decide to visit also the famous King of Aragon‘s steps: The walkway that stretches 167 steps out of the sheer rock connecting the town with the sea level or the old fortress, is a much-needed addition to this place.

Besides having a chance to take in some of the sights and sounds of this beautiful historic town, travelers will also have the opportunity to shop for some typical souvenirs: chestnut ice cream, chestnut beer, earrings with small shells, objects made with cork, and more.

The Bonifacio Corsica Island France Tour is a day trip from Sardinia that takes you to visit some important sights in Bonifacio. You will also have time to walk around and enjoy this beautiful place. It has a beautiful corsican beach that can be visited with a tour or boat.

The Gulf of Orosei boat tour will be a great experience for those who want to explore Corsica from the water. The boat will take you past some of Corsica’s most iconic coastal landscapes, from an untouched lagoon with crystal-clear water to a secluded bay where flamingos nest year round.

What is the Gulf of Orosei and What Makes it Unique?

The gulf is a place that will absorb you and take you back to the basics. A place where we can see the beauty of the sea and our past.

This mini cruise is departing from the port of Orosei and it will be in the Gulf of Orosei. (it is called also as Cala Gonone or La Caletta).

Orosei is located on the eastern coast of Sardinia and the whole voyage from here to there will take you along the same coastline. It is a natural reserve located in the north-eastern part of Sardinia, Italy. This gulf is home to a variety of marine life including endangered species. The Gulf of Orosei is a protected area that is devoid of any towns or villages.

The vegetation & wildlife here are protected. Many of the beaches can only be reached by boat or on foot, more easily if you enjoy trekking! If not, there are many good leisure activities to do in town.

The boat trip in this gulf of Sardinia is a perfect opportunity to explore an unspoiled part of the island while stopping in several beaches for a swim.

These beaches are made up of fine white sand or small, glittering stones. When the sun shines on them, they shimmer and shine like diamonds.

The crystal clear water of the Gulf

The white limestone cliffs

The sun

The palms

The waves

Enjoying the crystal clear water of the gulf while admiring the white limestone cliffs hanging above your head, the sun, palms, waves, and the people swimming in the ocean are all part of what makes this place so great!

It also provides a wonderful opportunity to take some amazing photos of some of Sardinia’s most beautiful beaches, including Cala Mariolu, Cala Sisine, Cala Goloritzè or even Cala Luna. These are some of the most stunning beaches on the island.

There are six grottoes in the area with a view of the beach, and they all offer different and interesting scenery. All of these grottoes would be perfect for spending time with family and friends. You can find olive trees planted above them that provide a bit of shade, which is nice given how hot it is on the island.

Why Take a Boat Tour in the Gulf of Orosei?

Boat tours are a great way to see the beauty of the Gulf of Orosei. They are an excellent option for families with children, elderly people or those who suffer from motion sickness.

A boat tour is a great chance to explore the Orosei Gulf in all its glory. The experience is very different than when you view it from land.

This Gulf of Orosei boat tour is perfect for families with children, elderly people or those who suffer from motion sickness because it does not involve any walking on uneven surfaces, like on land tours do.

The gulf is a place that will absorb you and take you back to the basics. A place where we can see the beauty of the sea and our past.

The Gulf of Orosei boat tour will be a great experience for those who want to explore Sardinia from the water. The boat will take you past some of Sardinia’s most iconic coastal landscapes, from an untouched lagoon with crystal-clear water to a secluded bay where flamingos nest year round.

During your excursion, you are given the option of visiting Grotta del Fico or Grotte del Bue Marino. (The grotto of the Monk Seal). We can reach just by a boat, and its entrance is just a few meters above sea level. This is a very exciting emotion. Prior to 1970, this area was one of the last places where monk seals could live.

The cruise ends back in the departure port after sailing along the coast. Whether you stop at all ports or not, it still wraps up there. You’ll see them all and will be able to capture beautiful memories with your camera.

You can ask us how to book this trip and how to customize it for you.

The Nuoro and Orgasolo Tour explores the historical and cultural heritage of the Nuoro province.

This tour is a 1:1:1 ratio of art, culture, and nature. It has many natural and man-made marvels for visitors to enjoy while getting immersed in the rich history of Sardinia.

Nuoro Tour

The first stop on Nuoro and Orgosolo tour is in Nuoro, where the costume museum was created with the goal of strengthening cultural ties between all of Sardinia’s disparate regions. It was built to honor the various areas of Sardinia.

Nuoro is found in the central section of the island called Barbagia. The is a city in the middle of Sardinia that has been inhabited since prehistoric times. The town is the most important settlement in the surrounding area and has landmarks such as the mask museum that are worth visiting.

The city also holds other historical sites such as churches, monuments, and fountains.

The people of Nuoro are typically honest and welcoming to visitors who need directions or help with their day-to-day tasks due to its strong tradition of hospitality.

It is an ancient city with a long history. The name “Nuoro” derives from Latin word “nuraghe”, meaning “fortress”. Nuoral fortress, which has been inhabited since prehistoric times, was probably the most important element of this development for this area.

The murals are also an essential part of Nuoro’s history.

There are a wide variety of traditional, colorful customs that have been used for many generations. Certain masks and costumes, musical instruments, jewelry and furniture all come from different parts of the Sardinia Island. Traditional Sardinian carnival masks include “Mamuthones” and “Issohadores”. Wooden masks are made to reproduce animal heads. These masks are designed to be worn on the face and they represent a character or animal that is intended for a certain purpose. Men in some villages still wear masks during the carnival season to try and influence the year’s farming. These masks are composed of sheep skins and cattle bells, which are believed to summon good luck. Despite their intimidating appearance, they are welcomed to the homes of our ancestors with open arms and are greeted with offers of food and drink, as they were seen as bringers of abundance.

Grazia Deledda Museum

There’s another museum in Nuoro worth checking out: The museum’s collection includes a variety of memorabilia, objects, and other artifacts from Grazia Deledda’s life and work (1871 – 1936). The house where the native writer who won the Nobel price for literature in 1926, the famous Sardinian writer Grazia Deledda, was born and grew up is now a museum. The museum has 10 rooms that are split into three floors, a beautiful a courtyard & garden. Visitors to the museum will be able to find out many details and peculiarities of Deledda’s way of life, as well as see her personal belongings such as books, manuscripts, furnishings and her some other personal objects. The kitchen has been furnished according to the descriptions we can find in the novel “Cosima” by Elena Deledda. After her marriage, she moved to Rome but never stopped writing about Sardinia and she furnished her studio in Rome with the furnishings ordered from Sardinian artisans. The museum also displays objects and text by contemporary local artists and writers like Antonio Ballero, Francesco Ciusa, Sebastiano Satta.

Orgasolo Tour

Our next delightful stop is in Orgosolo. Many houses in this village are painted with murals. The murals tend to criticize the world for its unfairness, and are meant to protest it. Walk around for a while or find your favorite photo spot to take in everything that Orgosolo has to offer!

The mural tradition can be traced back to the 16th century: it was then that a group of artists from all over Europe gathered in Nuoro to paint frescoes in churches and convents.

Our last stop was for a traditional lunch with recipes that date back centuries:

2 kinds of cheese

Raw ham

Sausage

Two different kinds of bread

Boiled sheep

Roasted suckling piglet

If the weather condition permits, lunch is served outside on the deck, under the shade of the trees.

Porto Cervo Tour by Night

If you’re in the North-East Sardinia area and are looking for something different to do after sundown, we suggest you visit Porto Cervo in Costa Smeralda. This part of the Costa Smeralda is at the northern part Olbia. A lot of people are drawn to Porto Cervo because this popular destination offers a selection of luxury hotels, restaurants, clubs and boutiques as it hosts a wide selection of these facilities. The area has the most exclusive villas in the world with breathtaking views of the blue Mediterranean Sea.

In the evening, as all the boats comes back from their day at sea and it is time for people to meet up again for a drink or have dinner, the city lights start to sparkle everywhere and it’s always a pleasure to be there. If you’re feeling drained, just go for a walk in the neighborhood to give your mind some space. Porto Cervo was originally created as a luxury resort for the world’s wealthiest people. It first emerged in the 1960s.

The old port town square is La Piazzetta and it is located right next to the luxury yacht docking area, the Promenade du Port. It has a wide variety of cafes, restaurants, and souvenir shops that line its streets and draws in many tourists each day. Some of our best bars can be found on this strip. There’s no shortage of VIP guests such as singers, politicians, film stars, football players and fashion models – to name a few.

Porto Cervo is a location that has something for everybody. There is a museum that hosts some cool temporary exhibitions as well as the new car models and international fashion brands. If you’re interested, you can also visit Stella Maris church. From the nearby square you can see the bay and all the way over to the yacht club Costa Smeralda which is situated on a small promontory. The Yacht Club was founded by a group of sailors and is responsible for many sailing competitions every year. The events usually start from Porto Cervo and go towards Bonificio Straight and La Maddalena archipelago. The Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta, Settimana delle Bocche 52 Super Series, Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup 6 and Rolex Maxi 72 World Championship are some of the biggest and most prestigious superyacht regattas in the world.

One of the most beautiful and scenic tour destinations in the world, Costa Smeralda is a region of Sardinia on the northern coast. This Costa Smeralda Tour will be your best to venture into this breathtaking destination.

Costa Smeralda Tour Itinerary

Costa Smeralda Tour consists of the most beautiful tourist destinations in Sardinia. You will get your guide and drive to Porto Cervo along the panoramic road. Enjoy a scenic Cugnana golf and breathtaking views of the sea & the Liscia Ruja beach. As in poems written by Elizabeth Bishop, you will admire the isles of Mortorio, soffi and le Camere. Like you are on a boat and see these islands in the distance and you will admire their beauty. From Porto Cervo to Porto Rotondo, it is a short drive. And if you would like we may stop by Pevero Golf Club before going back.

Costa Smeralda is a very popular tourist destination, and it has been an international tourist destination for decades. Costa Smeralda tour is famous for its turquoise waters and sandy beaches, as well as its lush green forests and mountains. No matter how many times you visit, you will never stop admiring the beauty of this region. The Mediterranean scrub alongside the snow-white beaches provides a beautiful landscape for luxury villas. The Emerald Coast is a stretch of coastline, 20km long and 2km wide, in Sardinia’s one of the most beautiful parts. It was created by the Prince Karim Aga Khan and is located between Portisco and Baja Sardinia.

During the summer holidays, here you may come across many famous people, such as movie stars and other celebrities, strolling around the small square (Piazzetta) in Porto Cervo.

Porto Cervo Center, Sardinia

The Costa Smeralda Consortium

The Costa Smeralda Consortium was launched in 1962. That was the beginning of Sardinia’s period of fame that pushed the boundaries and captured the attention of people all over the world. Right from the beginning of the development of the area its The Architectural Committee1 of this played an important role from the start. Challenges that the committee faced were how to transform an untouched region into a new Sardinia holiday destination, while respecting nature. They decided to push for more buildings to be the same style. The humble buildings emerged into the green surroundings, taking root in a lush garden with many summer-flowering plants. In addition to all of these efforts, the last crucial thing Karim Aga Khan did was make Sardinia more accessible with the help of constructing a new airport in Olbia. This airport is named Costa Smeralda Airport and is a popular international travel focal point for tourists.

Karim Aga Khan gradually sold many of his properties including the Aga Khan’s Palace and other parts of his portfolio to Sheraton, and in 2000 he passed them on to Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. Nevertheless, the Prince will always return annually to his villa in Costa Smeralda and his yacht.

After visiting the famous La Piazzetta square and admiring the nearby port, we head into Arzachena countryside. In Arzachena, we will see the nuraghe La Prisgiona. This is an excellent example of Sardinian archaeology, which was constructed during the Bronze Age. The remains of a village can be found at this site, where walls and cobblestone circles were constructed in order to create sheltered spaces. In Arzachena, we had the pleasure of visiting the Nuraghe La Prisgiona, which is considered to be one of the most representative in Sardinia. This is an excellent example of Sardinian archaeological finds, which date back to the Bronze Age. The village consists of hexagonal sandstone structures that are surrounding by circular sandstone boulders which were placed using stone tools. At this site you can find remains of a village like walls and cobblestone circles. They seem to have been constructed with the intention to create sheltered space. This kind of fortress became more and more embellished over the centuries. Rooms and spaces were added which changed its external appearance.

After exploring some of the archaeology in the area, we head back out to the coast. We take a break at Baja Sardinia. Baja Sardinia is another popular tourist destination located in close proximity to Porto Cervo, and has become a favorite for residents and visitors alike. With endless stretches of sand and soft calm waters, it offers an idyllic setting and a luxurious experience for all to enjoy. Baja Sardinia is situated right on the coast of the sea with pristine beaches and crystal blue waters. This little town of Baja Sardinia is wonderfully equipped for spending all of your time shopping, eating or at the beach. The town square is positioned right in front of the waterfront which provides quick access for a few hours at the beach.

The La Maddalena Archipelago is one of the most beautiful places in the Mediterranean Sea. It consists of a group of 18 small islands with crystal clear water, turquoise beaches and lush vegetation. The archipelago is only 30 km from Sardinia’s coast and can be easily reached by boat.

The National Park was established in 1994 and is a whole area that is protected. The NPS protects the resources of the area in order to preserve them for future generations.

The archipelago is located in the Mediterranean Sea, at the southernmost point of Corsica and near to an equally small island that is a part of Sardinia. Both islands are a part of France and both islands consist of a chain of smaller islands.

The Maddalena archipelago is composed of 7 major islands : La Maddalena, Caprera, Santo Stefano – that was home to a US Navy base for 30 years – Spargi, Budelli, Razzoli, Santa Maria and many other smaller rocks.

We are going to discuss the island of La Maddalena. The island is located in the Maddalena archipelago, off the northeast coast of Sardinia. It stretches for many kilometers along the coast.

La Maddalena is a town only populated town with about 11,400 habitants. It is situated on the homonymous island in Sardinia, Italy and it is the biggest island in the archipelago. The town is conveniently situated in the middle of the island.

The smaller islands are now uninhabited except for two, Budelli and Caprera. Most visitors usually come to this destination during the summer for the beautiful white sandy beaches and clear water.

The archipelago (is a group of islands) is also well-known for the particular flora and fauna. It’s a paradise for people who love nature and want to go on an exotic vacation.

Every island is different from each other. On the coast there are many beautiful small beaches and hidden bays. Different islands have different topographies. For example, a coastline on one island may be good for diving & snorkeling while a coastline on another island may be great for surfing.

The sea around the island is mixed with many different shades of blue and green. The rocks are made of granite, which are affected by soil and vegetation, brighten the landscape.

The island of Budelli is known for its pink beach, also known as ‘The Pink Beach’. The pink color is the result of the sea shells being crushed by the pressure of millions of years. The beach was closed in 1992 in order to preserve the pinkish layers that deposit on the white sand. We might see The Pink Beach from a distance during our excursion.

This area used to be very important for its central location in the Mediterranean. Admiral Nelson gave the church several gifts in 1805, including some silver metals, to say thanks. Napoleon Bonaparte, which was a young lieutenant in 1793 in the French fleet, tried to conquer the islands of the srchipelago but could not succeed.

The small Italian island of Caprera is located in the Bay of Valletta between Corsica and Sardinia. The island has a rich history with some significant events happening on it. One of them is the death of Giuseppe Garibaldi, who was a well-known general and revolutionary leader. He settled down in this area for over 26 years and in 1882 died on the island of Caprera.

La Maddalena Tour

After a day of sailing and bathing in our Maddalena boat tour, we’ll arrive at the town of La Maddalena in the evening. When you visit this town, it is always nice to take a stroll on the paved streets near the church and main square, do some shopping, buy some souvenirs, get a delicious ice cream or do a coffee break before you get back on the boat.
